How customers opt in

  1. The customer completes a Tap to Pay purchase.
  2. The confirmation screen asks whether they would like a receipt.
  3. If they choose SMS, they enter their phone number and tap Text Receipt.
  4. The app displays the disclosure below before sending the one-time receipt text.

Use case summary

This number is used for one-time transactional SMS receipts after completed in-person event purchases. The customer must explicitly request the SMS receipt in the mobile app. Messages include STOP and HELP instructions. Gatekeepers stores the phone number, consent timestamp, consent source, and delivery status with the related order.
